Our mission at OpenMined is to make the world more privacy-preserving by lowering the barrier-to-entry to privacy-preserving technologies through free, open-source software and education.

Today, we’re very excited to announce our Use Case partnership with Devron for Cross Organization Federated Learning, bringing together products and services built in conjunction with both engineering teams.

For more than a decade, enterprises have aggregated and shared sensitive information about their consumers in order to generate revenue for their products and services. Given the data breaches and privacy concerns of this design, privacy preserving technologies are increasingly being adopted to prevent this data sharing.

Today, we’re excited to announce a partnership with an early stage startup called Devron that is accelerating the adoption of similar technologies in large enterprises, to enable secure and privacy preserving data sharing.

Devron is founded by a team coming out of the United States Intelligence Community (USIC) to build a collaborative data science environment for large enterprises housing sensitive data. Their mission is to enable various organizations to collaborate with their trusted vendors and partners in order to build data analytics, without sharing sensitive data.

Devron will be OpenMined’s Use Case partner for Cross Organization Federated Learning, bringing together products and services built in conjunction with both engineering teams.
