Announcing the OpenMined Privacy Conference 2020

To be livestreamed on Sat 26th/Sun 27th September 2020

We are very excited to announce OpenMined’s very first conference!

Over two days in late September, we’ll be hosting virtual talks including: research topics in the world of privacy preserving machine learning, tutorials on using OpenMined libraries, and hosted discussions on the future of privacy enhancing technologies. Additionally we hope to give you insights from speakers on real world deployments of federated learning, differential privacy, secure aggregation and homomorphic encryption!

The conference will be free to attend. Get your FREE ticket here.

We’d also love for as many people from the OpenMined community and beyond to participate by contributing a talk or session at the conference. If you have an interesting idea you think you could share with the community, please submit a talk proposal*

*As we are planning only a two-day conference we can’t guarantee all submissions will be selected to present.

Selected talks will be live streamed via YouTube and, with permission from the speakers, the presentations will remain available on the OpenMined YouTube channel after the event.

During the conference, we will encourage discussion via our well established slack group and gather town. In particular, we will be using gather.town to facilitate casual, impromptu conversations throughout the duration of the conference!

Can’t wait to see you in September!

If you have any queries about the conference - feel free to reach out via email to privacyconf2020@openmined.org or direct message Chris Briggs (our conference lead organiser) on slack @confusedmatrix.
