The newly created Events Team at OpenMined will focus on online events - everything from open meetups to presentations and webinars.
As we have entered a new reality where in-person events are not possible, we have adapted and re-shaped meetups so we can stay connected.
Joining an online event could help you learn something new, connect with other OpenMineders, and it’s a fun way to be introduced to the many different parts of the community.
Join events
All upcoming events hosted by the Events Team will be posted in the #community_events channel.
The events posted will be open for everyone to join and are free to attend.
All events will also be posted on our online events calendar at calendar.openmined.org, with events open to the public listed in green.
Volunteer
Would you like to help out organizing and planning an online event?
If you are interested in joining the team as a volunteer, join the channel #community_events and one of the Volunteer Intro and Onboarding Meetups that will be hosted regularly.

Monthly Paper Session Online Event
The Paper Session Team will provide monthly online paper session events. This team is part of our Events Team, and is led by Zumrut Muftuoglu.
